Recent Workplace Evidence

Recent Sectors Filmed Without Naming The Site

Manufacturing

Process And Product Sequences

Recent work has included filmed procedures, close-up handling steps and supervisor explanations where production could only pause briefly.

Training

Repeatable Staff Modules

POV has filmed trainer-led demonstrations, room-based briefings and captioned modules for staff who need the same information after the session has passed.

Public Sector

Plain Internal Updates

Recent projects have involved practical internal comms and induction material where accuracy, consent and clear delivery mattered more than a glossy campaign look.

04 · Process

A Small Crew, A Written Plan And No Surprise Film Set

Brief

Turn the operational problem into a filmed outcome.

POV asks who must understand what, where the film will be watched, which staff are involved and what must not be shown.

Plan

Make the day workable before the camera arrives.

A filming plan sets locations, contributors, running order, risk notes, interview questions and the site contact responsible for access.

Shoot

Film around real work with a controlled footprint.

The crew keeps lighting compact, monitors sound, checks consent and avoids turning a live workplace into a blocked-off stage.

Edit

Shape the material into something staff can follow.

The first cut orders the information, removes drift, adds licensed music when useful and places simple graphics where they aid clarity.

Amend

Use review rounds for accuracy, not endless taste.

Two rounds of amendments are included in the overview package, with clear comments gathered before each return to the edit.

Deliver

Hand over files that your systems can use.

Final MP4 files are supplied in 1080p or 4K, with SRT captions when commissioned and media retained by POV for 12 months.

06 · Owner Note

A Note From Martin

I started POV Projects after making safety and product films around Trafford Park and Salford Quays, and the lesson that stuck was not about cameras. It was that most useful films have to survive contact with a warehouse door opening, a forklift reversing, a manager being pulled away, or a machine that can only be stopped for twenty minutes. Clear training material matters because people are asked to remember real steps under pressure. If we make everything look like an advert, we can lose the thing the viewer came for: where to stand, what to check, who signs it off, what happens when something goes wrong. I would rather make a film that a new starter can pause, replay and understand on a Tuesday morning than spend half the day chasing a glossy shot that tells them nothing. Good work still has to be well lit, well recorded and carefully edited, but the polish should serve the instruction, not bury it.
