Work Types

Training, Induction And Corporate Films With The Useful Bits Left In.

POV Projects works best when the film has a job to do: explain a process, brief staff, support a bid, show a product being used, or give a dispersed team the same update.

01 · Training Modules

Repeatable Instruction Without Repeating The Room Booking

Training films are useful when the same information is delivered again and again, or when a procedure has to be seen rather than read. POV can work from supplied scripts, rough trainer notes or a recorded walk-through, then turn the material into modules staff can watch on a learning system, intranet or briefing screen.

Typical structures include presenter-led explanation, practical demonstration, voiceover on filmed steps, interview inserts from a supervisor and captions for noisy or shared spaces.

  • Scripts can be supplied by the client or shaped from existing trainer notes.
  • Demonstrations are filmed close enough to show hands, controls and checks.
  • Presenter-led sessions can be filmed in a training room with compact lighting.
  • Caption files can be supplied as SRT for LMS and intranet use.

02 · Induction And Compliance

Give Every New Starter The Same Essential Briefing

Induction films suit sites where rules are important, access is controlled or staff and visitors need a consistent first briefing. The film can cover arrivals, signing in, PPE, emergency routes, prohibited areas, reporting lines, welfare and what to do when something looks wrong.

POV will ask for a named site contact, basic risk information and written permission for identifiable staff or visitors. The point is to make compliance easier without filming people who have not been properly briefed.

  • Site safety and new starter information filmed in the actual workplace.
  • Repeatable briefings for visitors, contractors and seasonal staff.
  • Simple graphics for zones, routes, warning points and reporting lines.
  • Versions can be cut for reception screens, LMS platforms and team briefings.

03 · Corporate Overview

A Company Film That Sounds Like The Company, Not A Pitch Deck

Corporate overview films are for organisations that need a clear introduction on a website, bid, recruitment page or stakeholder update. POV keeps the film practical: what you do, where you do it, who you help and why the viewer should trust the operation.

The typical overview package is £2,950 to £4,200 + VAT and includes a planning call, one shoot day, edit, music licence, captions and two rounds of amendments.

  • Interviews are prepared with questions that produce plain spoken answers.
  • Cutaways are planned around real activity rather than stock gestures.
  • Captions and lower thirds keep names, roles and key terms clear.
  • Final files are supplied as H.264 MP4 in 1080p or 4K.

04 · Product And Process

Show The Step That Is Hard To Explain In An Email

Product and process films are often needed by manufacturers, technical sales teams and support teams. They can show installation, maintenance, inspection, handover, packaging, testing or a production stage that customers and new staff need to understand.

The filming plan identifies what can be moved, what cannot be interrupted, which details are commercially sensitive and whether the action needs a second camera for close-ups.

  • Useful for manufacturing lines, technical demonstrations and filmed procedures.
  • Sound can be captured with radio mics, boom or separate recorders as the site allows.
  • Graphics can label parts, measurements and stages without heavy VFX.
  • Aerial work is subcontracted only when it genuinely helps the brief.

05 · Internal Comms Updates

Regular Updates For Teams That Do Not Share The Same Room

Internal comms films are useful for recurring operations updates, leadership messages, product notes and short explanations for teams spread across shifts or sites. They are usually kept short, direct and easy to upload to intranets, LMS platforms or briefing screens.

The monthly content retainer starts from £1,850 + VAT per month for one filming day and two short edits. Minimum booking outside a retainer is a half-day shoot or one edit day. Final files are supplied as H.264 MP4 in 1080p or 4K, with SRT caption files included when captions are commissioned.

  • Recurring product, process and internal policy updates.
  • Leadership messages filmed plainly without turning them into adverts.
  • Short edits prepared for intranet pages, LMS platforms and screens.
  • Normal lead time is 3 to 5 weeks, with urgent edits sometimes possible in 5 working days with a 25% rush fee.
